ARTIST: JEFFREY ALLEN MD is a self-taught figurative artist who grew up in the NY tri-state area and who currently resides in Atlanta. Working in oils, graphite and colored pencils, his portraits attempt to capture the essence of his subjects. As a physician, he was extremely grateful to take part in this project honoring his colleagues who perished during the pandemic. The portrait of Daisy is part of his series, CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH. Daisy is portrayed with a traditional Filipino weaving to celebrate her heritage. May Daisy’s memory be a blessing for all of us.
