Dr. Leo A. Dela Cruz was born in Cebu City, Philippines to Drs. Jose and Welihada Dela Cruz. Leo was known to be very generous and kind, loved to served his community. He enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, and entertaining his friends. He played the piano for Sabbath worship at Jersey Heights SDA Church. A loving son, every year he went home to the Philippines to visit his mother to celebrate her birthday and visited his father's grave.He took pride with the accomplishments of his nephews and nieces, He was the life among his circle of friends and colleagues, to mention the SWU-MHAM '86.
