Kathy Sims was the ultimate caregiver. She spent her 30+ year nursing career serving patients in the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. Many years were in nursing leadership and one of her greatest passions was growing and mentoring her staff. Her legacy of kindness lives on through the many lives she touched. Outside of work, she was the rock and glue for her extended network of friends and family. Kathy loved to entertain in her home and was the life of any party. She was happiest by the water or during the Christmas season when she shined her brightest. Kathy spread love, light, and joy through all seasons of her life. 

ARTIST: INGE DU PLESSIS is a figurative oil painter with work in collections throughout the world. She is originally from Cape Town, South Africa and has been painting professionally since 1999 after many years, working as a cabinet maker, and running their own design and manufacturing business. ​A recurring theme in her work of the last 19 years has been light within darkness.
