DR. SANTO BUCCHERI

Dr. Santo Buccheri actively contributed to the Greater Hartford medical community and held his fellow doctors and nurses in high regard. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Francis hospital in 1988, he established a private practice in Hartford's South End (Little Italy); was one of the founders of Prime Healthcare (a preeminent integrated healthcare system in the greater Hartford area); and served as the Medical Director for a number of nursing homes, most recently at Salmon Brook, Bloomfield Healthcare, and Maple View Manor. 

ARTIST: YAFA NEGRETE was born in Mexico City.She received her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Designer from La Salle University. She worked at the Colegio Israelita de Mexico from 2008 to 2012 as a graphic designer, photographer, and painted some murals and scenographies. From 2012 to 2016 she worked in the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Santa Fe, as a graphic designer and portrait drawing workshop teacher. There she was invited to draw the portrait of the founder of the institution, Eugenio Garza Sada, which she used to design a mural in the Learning Commons, located inside the Campus.
