Alex was born on November 24, 1945, in the Philippines, and grew up with 5 brothers and 5 sisters. He moved to the United States to work in two different careers - first as an engineer and second as a doctor. Along the way, he married Ophelia "Peachie" Weinbrenner. Together, they raised 5 children - Ritzie, Leli, Pinky, AJ (Junior), and Joey; 4 grandchildren - Tori, Paolo, Shayne, Kylie; and 1 adorable great-grandchild - Mayari.

ARTIST: Nur Shojai is an artist based in Vancouver, Canada, specializing in portraiture and contemporary realism. She grew up in 5 countries which allowed her to connect with diverse peoples and ways of life. She is inspired by the twofold nature of people’s unique character and individual stories within a universal essence of the human experience. Her paintings are also influenced by the teachings of the Baha’i Faith and the understanding that creating art can be a spiritual act akin to prayer and fulfills its highest purpose when intended to serve and uplift the world of humanity.
