CURRENT EXHIBITION

National Mall, Washington, D.C.
November 10-28, 2022

The Hero Art Project is on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. November 10-28, 2022. View our collection of 100+ portraits of healthcare heroes who lost their lives while fighting COVID-19 and saving the lives of thousands of people. The portraits and stories are exhibited in our mobile digital art gallery.

Next to the gallery, our hospitality tent invites visitors to contribute to the exhibit as a living memorial. Guests can add a cloud with the name of a healthcare worker lost during the pandemic to the back wall of the gallery or create an origami butterfly, inspired by the Filipino tradition that butterflies represent the spirits of the deceased.

We are grateful to students from George Washington University's art therapy program, who will be onsite most days offering a therapeutic art activity utilizing this butterfly theme.
